The new song is on Potter's Child Promotions Disc 3, Cut #2, and it is entitled, "Nobody Ever

"I've Made My Choice" charts!!

We were proud to be made aware that on the August Gospel Music News Chart, "I've Made
My Choice debuted at #90.  In September, the song move up to #46!!  In October the song
dropped to #58, but we are still very pleased to have this as our first nationwide charting song.
Thanks for your calls to radio stations, and thanks for your prayers in making this our first

assist us with this success!  Thank you most of all, Heavenly Father for helping others through

It's Official - Latest Single is at Radio Stations Nationwide!

A few months back we asked you to please pray for direction in
our continued efforts to get our music out to radio stations.  Well,
it's official, God has answered prayer, and we have signed with
"The Potter's Child Agency" as an artist on their debut radio
compilation CD.  Sister Reannza Ward has been most helpful to us
in making the song selection and in working hard for us to get our
song played.

The new single is
"I've Made My Choice", written by Jerry.
We feel the song is the best that we've ever released, and we're
extremely excited about what God is going to do!  Please call your
local radio station and request the song.  It is cut # 2 on the
compilation CD.

Happy New Year!

Wow, can you believe it is 2007?  Time moves so fast, but God
remains the same, aren't you glad for that?  The Montgomerys
brought the New Year in at a great New Year's Eve Service
close to home with some friends at the Johnson City Full Gospel
Holiness Church.  We thank them for their hospitality and a great
night of worship together.

We look forward to the great things that God has in store for us
this year.  We are booking for the Spring, Summer and Fall of
'07, so please give Norma a call if you're interested in hosting
The Montgomerys at your home church, singing, outdoor event,
or any venue.  I'm sure we'd be glad to come.  You can reach
Norma at (423) 926-9023. or you can email us here at

Norma's Health Update

Around the first week of December, as I'm sure many of you are
aware by now, mom fell and broke 2 or 3 vertebrae in her back.
Through Christmas and into the New Year, mom has been
incapacitated, either in bed or lying on the couch due to the pain.
On January 10th, mom had surgery to fix the broken bones.
However, at this point, the surgery hasn't really been a success,
and mom is still suffering tremendously.  Please remember her in
your prayers that God will provide healing and will ease her pain.
She goes on Monday, 01/22/07 for further testing.

Due to this, Michael has been filling all the dates that we already
had booked, and he has done an excellent job.  Hopefully mom
will be able to get back on her feet soon, and will be able to sing
with us again by spring.  Again, please remember her in your
prayers.

New Single

Help us pray for leadership in choosing our next radio song.  We want
God to be in charge of our decisions regarding radio promotion so that
we can reach more people and be a blessing and encouragement.  If
you have a song that is a blessing to you from our new CD, please let
us know!  We’ll keep you posted through the newsletter or you can
visit us here on the web for more information.

Update on Mom

I just wanted to give everyone an update on mama!  She is doing great,
and we thank God for her miracle.  Several medical personnel have told
us that normally people just don’t survive an ordeal such as this due to
the magnitude of blood that is lost and the major trauma that the heart is
placed in during an artery rupture.  We know, however, that our God
specializes in the impossible!  Thanks to all of you for your financial
help, the food and gifts that you have sent, and most of all for your
prayers.
Norma is officially back on the road.  She is not able to do a full
program yet, so Michael is still travelling with us to sing a few songs
until mom gets her strength back.

Don't forget....

Latest update on mom 06-25-06
Hey everyone!  I just wanted to give you an update on
mom's condition and let you know her progress.  Mom
came home from the hospital on Thursday, 06/22/06.  She
is doing good, and she is in good spirits.  Y'all know mom
is a fighter, and she ain't going down easy!!  Anyway,
home health is coming out every day to assist her with
anything that she should need, and dad has constructed a
handicap ramp so that she can get in and out of the house
to go to the doctor.   Her recovery is a long road, and we
know that.  We also know, however, that God is the Great
Physician, and that He can speed up her recovery process,
so that she can soon get back on her feet!

Needless to say, mom is not singing yet!  However, The
Montgomerys had some bookings this weekend, and we
had a very special guest that filled in for Norma.  I must
say that he did quite an excellent job, even if I am a little
biased!  Michael Paul Montgomery II, Mike's oldest son
filled in for mom this weekend at the Tri Cities Gospel
Music Association Singing at Hampton High School, and at
Havest Time Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC.  I
asked Michael after we sang, to rate his level of
nervousness from 1-10.  He said it was a 10 - he thought
he would pass out!  Michael has never sung with a group
before, so we're really proud of his efforts.

We thank all of you for the outpouring of love you've
shown to us through this ordeal!
Update on Norma 06/18/06
I just wanted to take a few minutes to give each of you
an update on mom and to thank you for your prayers
concerning her.  Mom is still in the ICU, but she is off the
ventilator and she is alert and aware of her condition.
The doctors are very pleased with her level of success.
Mom still feels really rough, but she was able to sit in a
chair for a little while yesterday.  If she continues to
improve, she will move into a regular room tomorrow.
Her recovery this far is nothing short of a miracle, and I
really appreciate your prayers for her.  Please continue
to pray that mom will get back on her feet soon.  If
you've ever had a family member who has had bypass
surgery, you realize they cannot use their arms very much
when getting up and down.  Mom has problems using
her legs to get up and down due to her neuro-muscular
disease, so her recovery will be a little harder.  We
know that God will help her, and we're so thankful to
Him for sparing her and bringing her through this ordeal.
I'll keep you posted on her condition, and thanks again
for lifting her up to Jesus in prayer.

Urgent Prayer Request for Norma

I just wanted to let each of you know that mom recently
had some abnormalities in a stress test, so she was
scheduled for a heart catherization today.  This is the
fourth catherization that she has had done, and usually
the cardiologist just tells us that mom has a leaking heart
valve, but it is not urgent for her to have surgery.  Today
we were expecting the same news, but instead, the
cardiologist advised us that mom had a blockage.  He
was removing the blockage with the balloon and putting
in a stint when mom's artery ruptured.  She was
immediately transported to the operating room for
emergency open heart surgery.   The doctor is telling us
that mom lost a lot of blood due to the ruptered artery.
She has had to receive about 3 to 4 pints of blood and
she is on the ventilator, which is usually standard for a
by-pass surgery.  If all goes well and her blood pressure
stays normal, the doctors will begin to slowly wean her
from the vent and hope that she regains consciousness
enough to begin breathing on her own.

I am writing this at 11:35pm after being at the hospital all
day.   I was able to go in and back and see mom before
leaving to come home for some clothes.  She is not
conscious yet, but she is stable.  I just wanted to ask
each of you to please pray for her that God will see fit to
touch her once again.  As most of you know, mom and
dad are inseparable, so daddy is really in turmoil right
now.  I'm sure that the most of you know as well that my
mama is the glue in The Montgomerys.  God surely is
not through with her yet.  Please help us pray and
request prayer in your church for mom that she will
receive the healing that only God can give.  We know
that we are more than conquerors through Jesus, and we
will not accept defeat at this point in the race of life.
Truly we as Christians are "Undefeated."
